Ukraine Will Import 7.23 Cubic Meters of Gas

On last Friday, Ukrainian government said that Ukraine would need to import 7.23 cubic meters of gas from August in this year to March in the next year to ensure its own economy run smoothly during high demand seasons.
 
Ukrainian government predicts that most of gas will be imported from Europe through several gas pipelines. The reason is that supplying gas from Russia has already been cut down to zero on June 16th because of dispute on gas prices and schedule of debt payments with Russia.
 
The resolution had been approved in last Wednesday. Then the government outlined the figure in the resolution in detail about the consumption of gas in the next 8 months and import target.
